FalaaMall operates two distinct shipping models to provide clarity and set accurate expectations for our customers.
* Model A: Fast Ghana Delivery
* Scope: Applies to all products marked as “Ready to Ship” or “Local Stock.”
* Process: These items are physically stored in Ghana.
* Estimated Delivery: 1-3 business days for orders within major metropolitan areas (e.g., Accra, Takoradi, Kumasi). Deliveries to other regions may take 3-7 business days.
* Shipping Cost: A flat-rate delivery fee is applied at checkout for this service.
* Model B: Direct Import (Pre-Order)
* Scope: Applies to all products marked as “Pre Order” or “International Import.”
* Process: These items are shipped directly from our international suppliers upon order confirmation.
* Estimated Delivery: 30 – 45 business days from the date of order. This timeline includes processing, international transit, customs clearance in Ghana, and final local delivery.
* All-Inclusive Pricing: The listed price for Pre-Order items is final and inclusive. It covers the product cost, international shipping, insurance, all Ghanaian import duties, taxes (VAT), and local delivery. No additional payments are required upon delivery.
2. Order Processing
* Local Stock Orders: Processed within 1 business day of payment confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays.
* Pre-Order Items: Submitted to our international supplier within 24-48 hours of payment confirmation. You will receive a notification once this is completed.
3. Shipping Destinations & Limitations
* We currently ship to all regions within Ghana.
* For remote locations, additional delivery time may be required. We reserve the right to cancel orders to locations deemed logistically unserviceable and will provide a full refund in such cases.
4. Tracking Your Order
* Local Deliveries: A local tracking number or delivery agent contact will be provided via email or SMS once your order is dispatched from our hub.
* International Pre-Orders: An international tracking number will be provided via email once the parcel is shipped from the origin country. Tracking updates may pause during sea/air transit and resume upon arrival in Ghana.
5. Delivery & Receipt of Goods
* Delivery Attempts: Our delivery partner will attempt delivery at the address provided. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the address is accurate and that someone is available to receive the package.
* Failed Deliveries: If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address or recipient unavailability, subsequent re-delivery attempts may incur an additional fee. Packages returned to us due to failed delivery will be eligible for a refund of the product cost only; original shipping fees are non-refundable.
* Inspection Upon Delivery: Customers are encouraged to inspect the external packaging for obvious damage at the time of delivery. Any visible damage or tampering should be noted with the delivery agent before accepting the package.
6. Delays & Force Majeure
* The estimated delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery dates.
* FalaaMall is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, extreme weather, natural disasters, port congestion, customs inspections, pandemics, or carrier service disruptions (“Force Majeure Events”).
7. Customs & Import Duties (Pre-Order Items)
* For Pre-Order items, FalaaMall acts as the Importer of Record and is responsible for all customs clearance and payment of applicable duties and taxes to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
* As stated, these costs are included in the product’s purchase price. The customer will not be asked for any additional payment for customs clearance.
8. Changes to These Terms
* We reserve the right to modify these Shipping Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of our service after changes constitute acceptance of the new terms.
